About Me

Hello!  My name is Tina Seminerio and I am so glad you are here!

I have been teaching in Tennessee and Texas for eight years.  In Tennessee, I taught ESL self-contained elementary for three years and spent four years teaching ESL pull-out k-12!  Both of these roles helped me grow as a teacher and prepared me for any future opportunities the education world may send my way!  I also learned that I love teaching all ages of students!  When I moved to Texas for my husband's job a couple of years ago, I spent a year getting all of my Texas teaching credentials and then I taught kindergarten self-contained!  What an adventure that was!  Kindergarten is truly the beginning of everything! me

Personal Information:  I am married to my wonderful husband, William and have three lovely children of my own- Nathan who still l,ives in Tennessee, Micah who is a college student here in Texas, and Emma who is in high school at Gateway College Preparatory School in Georgetown, TX.

I am also the mom of several four-legged "babies" and love to spend time playing with them.  My newest is a Shi Tzu named Tiki who has stolen my heart... and my lap!  I can be found many evenings sitting at home in my recliner with Tiki on my lap while I wTikiork on my computer to plan lessons.  In fact, she is sitting on my lap right now!  Isn't she adorable?

A few months ago, we moved into our dream home in Round Rock where my husband and I also sing with the Round Rock Community Choir.  On Monday nights, you can find us rehearsing all over Round Rock as we have no regular location.  We have two main concerts a year and are even planning to go to sing at Carnegie Hall next summer!

I also attend bible study and we have a fellowship group from our church that comes to our house about once a month.  I enjoy gardening, though I am a novice and have much to learn.  I also read or listen to recorded books frequently.  My husband and I like to travel, sometimes short weekend trips and sometimes longer ones.

I have a passion for education.  From the time I was very young, I enjoyed being with children and helping them learn.  I am most comfortable and satisfied when I can do that!
